This document outlines new functionality that will allow a DocuPhase Pro user to reset their password on their own as opposed to relying on the assistance of DocuPhase support staff.
Overview
With our continued effort to elevate the DocuPhase Pro experience we have implemented an end-user “Forgot Password” feature providing an individual user with simple steps to change/reset their password in a secure manner.
User Experience
Users on the initial and secondary Login landing pages will now see a “Forgot Password” link. Clicking the link on either page will take the user to the “Reset Your password” page, with the “Request to reset password” link.
The only difference will be that if you choose the link from the initial landing page, you will need to manually enter in your username on the “Reset your password” page. If you enter your username and click “login” on the landing page, the “Forgot password” will retain your username.
Once a user clicks the ‘Request to Reset Password”, they will get the following:

Upon clicking the Reset my Password link, they will be taken to the Password Reset page (via their default browser), where they will see their username already pre-populated. NOTE: For security the reset password link contained within the email will be valid for only 15 minutes. They will need to choose a new password, where any department password restrictions will be set (note the message when not met in sample below):
Once the new password meets any restrictions, and they have entered and then confirmed the password, they can hit “Enter” on their keyboard, or click the “reset password” button. If successful, they will see the following:
