DP Pro Release
Available: 2/21/2024
Announcing the latest product development cloud release of DocuPhase Pro. This release includes several enhancements as well as critical fixes.
Release Highlights
User Password Reset Capability
(DPP-71)
A DP Pro user now can manually reset their password via the login page. Clicking on the “Forgot Password” link within the login screen will direct the user through a series of simple steps allowing a reset of their existing pro user account password. This update not only provides the user with an efficient and secure method of password reset but also eliminates the need for the Pro support team members to intervene and reset passwords on behalf of a user.
Additional details on User Password Reset can be found here: DP_Pro_Forgot_Pword.docx
Simplified View Options for Virtual Viewer & Annotations
( DPP-298)
We’ve simplified how users can view and annotate documents within Document Center by consolidating the actions into a single icon. Based on the existing permissions that the user has, when this icon is clicked, they’ll either be able perform annotations or simply view the document. NOTE: Clicking within the row of an original file will still open within the default browser view. If there are additional versions of the document, it will open within the viewer.
Fix Improvements
MFA QR Code not Displaying on Setup Screen
(DPP-444)
The API service used to generate QR codes was no longer functioning resulting in users being unable to setup their user account with an Authenticator App for Multi-Factor Authentication. An update was made to ensure that QR codes are generated and displayed for MFA setup via an Authenticator app.
Inbox – Folders Uploaded to Inbox Cannot Be Opened If Username has a Period in it
(DPP-351)
Usernames with a “.” were unable to open folders within the Inbox to view files within that folder.
Removed the Timestamp Column from Document Center
(DPP-316)
Removed the Timestamp column as an available option within the Document center cabinet view. There is no value in displaying the “System.Byte” value to users as we do not currently display timestamps at this level. Therefore, the Timestamp option was removed from the column selection.
Implemented a Validation Check on Special Characters on Indexes when Adding a New Doc Type
(DPP-325)
Added character validation check when adding an Index Row when creating a new Doc Type to ensure special characters and symbols are not permitted.
