Release Notes
Announcing the latest product development cloud release of DocuPhase DM. This release includes several enhancements as well as critical fixes.
Release Highlights
Email Enhancements – Consolidating Email to a Single Project
We’ve made some updates to our email system to ensure a more secure and reliable distribution of email content to end users. With this change, core emails send from the DM solution will now be sent from “noreply@docuphase.com” as the sender.
It’s important to note that nothing will change as far as the user actions that generate an email. The only content change within the body of an email are to email notifications that were previously sent on behalf of another user. Moving forward, we’ve updated the body content of these emails to simply state which user triggered the notification. There are only 2 emails where this content change was made and both are Binder related emails for attachments and links. You can see the full list here: Email Examples (zendesk.com).
DM – Forms Connector Update
We’ve made an update to the existing Forms <> DM connector that ensures the call used to perform a search utilizes an Exact match as opposed to a “Contains.” It was discovered that index values that were contained within the search were adding files to the incorrect folder. This update ensures that we are utilizing an exact match.
Department admins now have additional control of access to users logging into the solution.
A department admin can now disable a single user from logging into that department by simply updating the config while editing a user in admin.
When enabled, that user will not be able to login to the DM site.
Admin – Administration portal updated with DocuPhase color scheme
We’ve updated the administration side of the DM application to include the core DocuPhase branding color scheme.
Fix Improvements
Updated the Audit Log Entry for Delete Users
The audit log entry was missing contextual information when users were deleted. The audit entry now displays the username of the logged in user that performed the action as well as a reference to which user was deleted.
Admin – Require Time Expiration When Editing an Existing User to a Guest User
Admins must now input a time expiration if editing an existing user to a Guest user account.
Update to API Delete Folder Method
Using the Delete folder method within the API was not removing the corresponding ToDo task if a Workflow was associated with the folder that was being deleted. An update was made that when a folder is deleted via the API, all associated ToDo tasks and workflow records are deleted as well.
AutoComplete Not working When Moving a File to a New Folder
Fixed an issue where Autocomplete was not populating the available indexes when Copying/Moving to a new cabinet and folder with the Autocomplete setup, or folder in the current cabinet with Autocomplete configured.
