DP Pro Release (v5.2.2)

Excited to announce the latest product development release of DocuPhase PRO version 5.2.2. This release includes the implementation of new security management for customer’s Identity Providers utilizing SAML 2.0 in addition to some other enhancements and bug fixes.

New Features/Enhancements

The following are new features introduced to DP Pro this release.

​Security Management-Identity Provider Configuration via SAML 2.0

(DPP-160 | DPP-283 | DPP-159)  

We’ve introduced a new method of user security management by implementing support for SAML 2.0 integrations which allow customers to configure their Department with their preferred Identity Provider. This new feature provides the ability for user access to a Department to be achieved with Single Sign-On (SSO) directly with an Identity Provider like Okta or Azure AD (now called Entra).

As part of this update, users will see an improved sign-in experience along with visual updates to the login screen.

For customers that have an IdP configured on their Department, a user will enter their domain address within the Username field in Pro and upon successful lookup will be directed to their Identity Provider for authentication.

Upon successful authentication with the IdP, the user will be routed back to Pro securely with a successful login to their account.

For customers that do not have an IdP configured, their login experience will change slightly as a part of this release. All users will be forced to enter their username first prior to being presented with a password field. This was done intentionally to perform a lookup of that username to determine if an IdP is configured. If it is not, the password field will then appear on the login screen for that user.

​Performance Improvement on Document Preview

In a continued effort to improve overall site performance across Pro, we’ve made a change to how we retrieve and display the document preview when viewing files within a folder. We now can retrieve the doc preview using a more improved method while eliminating excessive and expensive calls to display the image.

Direct Link to Support/Zendesk added to Top Navigation

(DPP-343)

A direct link to the DP Pro Support page has been added for all Pro users within the user nav in the upper right corner.

Clicking the “Support” link from Pro will direct the user to Zendesk to initiate a support ticket.  

​Fix Improvements

​The following are Tier 3 bug fixes and overall improvements included in this release.

Remove References to Treeno within Pro Admin

(DPP-288)

We have removed references to the Treeno name within the Pro administration pages.  

Dates Prior to 01-01-1900 Not Accepted 
(DPP-260) 

Date fields using the Date selector were limited to dates after 01/01/1900. An update was made to allow older dates to be selected for Date fields. The oldest acceptable date is now 01/01/1880.

API Not Returning Correct Filename via GET Files call 
(DPP-339) 

Corrected an issue where we were returning the incorrect filename when making the GET Files API call. 

 

MFA Being Prompted to Users Accessing Pro Tool 
(DPP-257)

Corrected an issue where users who have MFA enabled were being challenged for MFA multiple times after an initial successful authentication when accessing Pro Connect tools.

Password Protection in Binder Breaks when “CC Myself” Option Used 
(DPP-254) 

Corrected an issue where the password protection on a file was not respected if a user chooses the “CC Myself” option when sending links to documents within the Binder.  

Issue with m.pro.docuphase.com not Loading Files in Subfolder

​Corrected an issue where users accessing Pro mobile were unable to view files within a subfolder.

Unable to Clear Date Value from Date Index Upon Save 
(DPP-167) 

Fixed an issue within the Date field that prevented users from being able to clear out the selected date value.  

System Search Issue

(DPP-170)

Optimizations have been made to the System Search feature which now includes Full-Text search allowing us to return results with more precision and improved efficiency.
