DocuPhase features versioning documents which helps manage the changes made to documents by multiple users. To make changes to a document a user must first check it out. To do this select the small blue circle to the left of the file name.
Selecting the versioning button will bring up the following window
To modify the document, click check out and either open or save the document. Note, this window will display a list of all versions that have been created for the document. Each new version is marked with a sequential version number, with version 1 representing the original document.

After you have made changes to a document you can check it back into DocuPhase. Select the versioning button bringing up the versioning window. Click the Check In Button. Then the browse button and navigate to and select the document. Click Open to return to the Versioning Window and then click OK. Now a new version document is created and assigned the next sequential version number.
An administrator can freeze a file, a frozen file cannot be checked out.
You can open and view a previous version of a document.
